Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical laboratory sessions, and seminars to undergraduate nursing and health science students.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content in line with modern educational standards.
- Design, administer, and grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations to accurately assess student progress.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to students to enhance their overall academic performance.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and college-wide academic events.
- Conduct relevant academic research and contribute to scholarly publications within the field of microbiology.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree or equivalent in Microbiology from a recognized and accredited university.
- Possession of a Master's degree (M.Sc.) or progress toward postgraduate studies in Microbiology will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and mentoring students in a tertiary institution setting.
