About the Role
Vision University, a newly established, private, faith-based institution located in Ikogbo Town, Ogun State, Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and qualified Assistant Lecturer in Mathematics to join our vibrant academic community. Granted our provisional operating licence by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2023 and proudly mentored by Lagos State University (LASU), we are committed to delivering exceptional education and maintaining high academic standards under our mandatory five-year supervision framework.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and tutorials in various branches of Mathematics.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Assess student performance through examinations, quizzes, assignments, and constructive feedback.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and support to undergraduate students.
- Conduct impactful research and contribute to scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, committee work, and university community service.
- Possess a good Master's degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline with a CGPA suitable to qualify the candidate for a Ph.D. programme.
