Elitecare Prime College of Nursing Sciences is a premier private health training institution located in Iperin, Ila Orangun, Osun State, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Assistant Lecturer and Guidance and Counseling Officer to join our dynamic academic community and provide essential support to our nursing students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate interactive learning sessions for students in relevant academic disciplines.
- Provide comprehensive guidance and counseling services to students, addressing academic, personal, and career-related challenges.
- Assist in the development and review of curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional resources.
- Monitor student academic progress and attendance, offering timely interventions and mentorship where necessary.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and orientation programs focused on personal development, mental health, and career readiness.
- Collaborate with faculty members and administrative staff to foster a supportive, inclusive, and conducive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committee works, and other institutional activities as assigned by college management.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree or equivalent in Guidance and Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting student welfare in a tertiary institution.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in handling confidential student records.
- Prior experience in an academic or counseling setting within a Nigerian tertiary institution will be an added advantage.
