Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Nigeria, a reputable private conventional university established in 2005, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and dynamic candidates for the position of Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in Marketing and related Business Administration courses to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course materials, curricula, and instructional strategies in line with contemporary academic standards.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the academic profile of the department.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research papers, and academic fieldwork.
- Participate actively in continuous student assessment, setting and grading examinations, and providing constructive feedback.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and pastoral support to students to ensure their holistic development.
- Contribute to departmental, college, and university-wide committee meetings and institutional events.
- Possession of a minimum of a Master degree in Marketing or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited university.
- Evidence of ongoing or completed doctoral (PhD) studies will be considered a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated potential for academic research, scholarly publications, and professional growth.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills suited for higher education environments.
