We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Assistant Lecturer in Chemistry to join our dynamic faculty.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive and engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions for nursing and health science students.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content in line with accredited academic standards.
- Prepare, administer, and grade quizzes, examinations, and laboratory reports to assess student performance accurately.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to support their overall educational journey.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development committees, and college events.
- Conduct relevant academic research and contribute to scholarly publications within the scientific community.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited institution.
- A higher degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) or progress towards one will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and mentoring young adults in a tertiary education setting.
