About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and academically sound professional to join our faculty as an Assistant Lecturer in Accounting. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the next generation of financial professionals by delivering engaging lectures, conducting impactful research, and providing holistic mentorship to our students within a vibrant Christian environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive undergraduate lectures, seminars, and tutorials in various accounting courses.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content in line with NUC guidelines and industry standards.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through examinations, quizzes, coursework, and constructive feedback.
- Engage in active academic research, publishing papers in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their personal and professional growth.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees as assigned by the management.
- Possess a good Master's Degree in Accounting or a directly relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must have attained a CGPA during the Master's program suitable to qualify the candidate for immediate or future Ph.D. enrollment.
- Demonstrated potential for academic research and scholarly publications.
