Key Responsibilities- Assist with washing, drying, ironing, and folding of hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments.
- Sort laundry accurately according to color, fabric type, and specific washing requirements.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently to maximize output.
- Ensure all clean items are properly folded, stored, and promptly delivered to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall orderliness of the laundry work area.
- Identify and report damaged or stained items to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining adequate inventory of laundry supplies, chemicals, and detergents.
- Adhere strictly to hotel hygiene, safety protocols, and quality standards at all times.
- Perform other ancillary laundry-related duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum of SSCE or OND qualification from a recognized institution.
- Previous working experience in a hotel, commercial laundry facility, or similar hospitality environment is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and garment care.
- Physically fit and capable of handling repetitive, laundry-related physical tasks.
- High levels of honesty, reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
