About the Role

New Incentives is a US-based nonprofit dedicated to implementing life-saving health-related cash transfer programs in developing countries. Operating in partnership with the State Primary Healthcare Development Board across Northern Nigeria, we provide conditional cash transfers to mothers of at-risk infants, encouraging them to complete essential immunization schedules. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Field Manager to join our growing team on a full-time basis, helping us drive impactful healthcare solutions at the grassroots level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Field Managers in overseeing smooth and transparent cash transfer disbursements at public health clinics.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide strong leadership to Field Officers across selected operational states and local government areas.
  • Ensure high-quality program operations aimed at increasing infant immunization coverage and long-term retention.
  • Nurture and maintain positive working relationships with clinic staff, local stakeholders, and community members.
  • Monitor field activities, manage funds securely, and handle financial matters with strict attention to detail.
  • Collect, synthesize, and report field data to support ongoing program evaluations and strategic improvements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), preferably in Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
  • Fluency in local languages and dialects spoken in operational states, with strong proficiency in Hausa (both written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel and work in remote public clinics and field locations at least four days per week.
  • Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the target towns or LGAs within our states of operation.
  • Familiarity with the Nigerian healthcare system and clinic documentation related to infant health and vaccinations.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, internet browsers, smartphones, and general communication technology.
  • Strong interpersonal, managerial, and problem-solving skills with a deep passion for reducing infant mortality.
