About the Role

Headquartered in the bustling metropolis of Lagos, Nigeria, we are expanding our operations and looking for a dedicated Assistant Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic electrical maintenance team and support our large-scale manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor day-to-day plant shift activities, ensuring speedy response in fault tracing and rectification.
- Monitor power generation and distribution to various sections of the plant, preparing daily power generation and consumption analyses.
- Monitor the national grid status (PHCN) and report to the substation for necessary adjustments.
- Maintain 6.6kV bus panels, 415V MCC panels, and NGR panels efficiently.
- Fulfill plant illumination requirements as requested by user departments.
- Ensure compliance of all electrical equipment with Dangote Cement PLC (DCP) and local safety regulations.
- Maintain proper safekeeping of materials, tools, and equipment, and accurately update shift log notes without fail.
- Perform any other duties entrusted by management or the Head of Electrical Maintenance.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in handling basic electrical tools and instruments.
- Strong safety knowledge, awareness, and presence of mind for quick fault identification and rectification.
