About the Role
Mulligan Hotel, a premier private Nigerian Group of Companies operating in retail, hospitality, and property, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Chief Security Officer. In this vital role, you will support the Chief Security Officer in maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment for all guests, employees, and hotel assets. You will supervise security personnel, monitor daily operations, respond swiftly to incidents, and enforce our rigorous security policies to uphold the highest standards of safety in our establishment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Chief Security Officer in coordinating and supervising the hotel security team and shift deployments.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of hotel premises, including entrances, exits, parking lots, and vulnerable back-of-house areas.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and manage access control for restricted areas to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and safety hazards, preparing accurate incident reports.
- Enforce hotel policies, support emergency evacuation procedures, and liaise effectively with local authorities when necessary.
- Supervise staff entrances, deliveries, and the handling of lost and found items in compliance with hotel procedures.
- Mentor, train, and monitor the discipline, performance, and professional conduct of security personnel.
- B.Sc Degree, HND, or advanced Diploma in Security Operations, Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience, with at least 2 years serving in a supervisory or head-of-unit capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in hotel security, corporate safety, or the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols, CCTV operations, and incident management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, leadership, and crisis-management skills.
- High level of integrity, physical fitness, alertness, and the ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
