Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a high-performing team by recruiting, training, supervising, and mentoring engineering staff.
- Assist the Chief Engineer with managing daily maintenance operations, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring the timely resolution of guest concerns.
- Ensure stringent safety and compliance standards across all physical, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems in line with regulations.
- Monitor departmental KPIs, including equipment upkeep and team productivity, to drive continuous operational improvement.
- Collaborate with hotel leadership on evacuation procedures, duty manager coverage, and emergency protocols.
- Supervise external contractors and inspect completed projects for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Support property-wide energy conservation and efficiency initiatives to reduce utility costs.
- Degree or relevant professional certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in facility management or engineering within the hospitality or service industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
