About the Role
Lotus Capital Limited, a pioneer in ethical and non-interest finance in Nigeria, is seeking a diligent and analytical Asset and Liability Management Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in monitoring cash flows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting our Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) to drive sustainable financial growth.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor cash flows, liquidity positions, and funding requirements to ensure optimal capital allocation.
- Prepare comprehensive ALM reports, dashboards, and management information systems.
- Analyze assets and liabilities to identify mismatches, emerging risks, and profitability trends.
- Perform stress testing, scenario analysis, and track Sukuk yields and market trends.
- Support ALCO activities, follow up on approved actions, and reconcile treasury data across departments.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal ALM policies and SEC regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in treasury, ALM, portfolio management, or financial risk.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, FRM, or ACI are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian financial market, treasury operations, and Shariah-compliant financial instruments.
