About the Role
The Dangote Group is seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Artificial Intelligence & Digital Transformation Analyst to join our expanding team at our operational headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. In this impactful role, you will bridge the gap between advanced technology and large-scale industrial operations, leveraging machine learning and data science to optimize manufacturing, logistics, and corporate functions across Africa's largest conglomerate.
Key Responsibilities- Identify operational challenges across manufacturing plants and business units suitable for AI and digital interventions.
- Design, train, test, and deploy robust machine learning, deep learning, and advanced analytics models.
- Analyze complex industrial datasets, including time-series sensor data and operational metrics, to drive reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, plant leadership, and operators to translate technical outputs into actionable commercial insights.
- Monitor the performance of deployed digital solutions and support the broader Group AI and Digitisation roadmap.
- Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative engineering discipline.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, advanced analytics, or industrial digital product development.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and SQL, with practical experience using modern ML frameworks.
- Solid understanding of predictive modeling, anomaly detection, neural networks, and MLOps principles.
- Prior exposure to asset-intensive environments such as manufacturing, energy, or logistics is highly advantageous.
