About the Role
Ternary Security Limited, a premier provider of security services and business risk solutions in Nigeria, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Area Manager to join our growing team in Lagos. In this vital operational role, you will lead our security teams across multiple locations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Supervising and evaluating onsite security supervisors and guards across multiple branches and contract locations.
- Managing personnel schedules, rotation planning, and coordinating guard deployment to eliminate coverage gaps.
- Recruiting, onboarding, and training security officers on localized emergency response protocols and equipment use.
- Conducting frequent site visits and random checks to ensure security teams are active, in uniform, and adhering to strict protocol.
- Performing regular physical security audits and risk assessments to find vulnerabilities in access control or boundary lines.
- Investigating security breaches, property damage, or internal theft, and delivering comprehensive findings to senior leadership.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, facility managers, and local business leaders within the assigned territory.
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in physical security operations, risk management, or law enforcement, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven ability to conduct security audits, risk assessments, and lead operational investigations.
- Exceptional leadership, crisis management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and familiarity with the local terrain in Lagos and surrounding operational areas.
