About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, providing clean, reliable power to over 82 million customers across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a driven Area Business Manager to join our team in Ilesha, Nigeria, to oversee the direct distribution of our Pay-As-You-Go solar products through our network of Energy Officers.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing team of at least 40 Energy Officers within the assigned territory.
- Conduct daily and weekly field visits to support sales, resolve customer issues, and ensure proper onboarding processes.
- Exceed monthly sales and collection targets established by the Regional Business Manager.
- Manage inventory, logistics, and marketing spend efficiently to maximize return on investment.
- Expand retail presence and build strong external relationships within the local community to protect and grow brand dominance.
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on sales and customer care experience.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of the Ilesha territory and local market dynamics.
