About the Role
Tezza Business Solutions Ltd is looking for a seasoned Architecture & Code Review Lead to join our elite technology consulting practice. In this strategic role, you will be embedded within a high-profile digital banking transformation program for a leading financial institution, ensuring the highest standards of software architecture, code quality, and maintainability. You will act as a critical quality gatekeeper, safeguarding system integrity across custom middleware and licensed platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct structured architecture and code reviews on a fixed weekly and sprint cadence, focusing heavily on custom middleware integration layers.
- Evaluate licensed digital banking platform configurations against vendor documentation and industry best practices.
- Review mobile application codebases for Android and iOS to ensure structural quality and long-term extensibility.
- Administer and maintain static code analysis tools like SonarQube, Semgrep, or Checkmarx as integrated quality gates.
- Identify, document, and formally escalate technical debt, integration risks, and release-blocking findings to stakeholders.
- Produce comprehensive technical review reports tailored for both engineering teams and non-technical leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 8 years in software engineering with at least 4 years dedicated to architecture review, technical assurance, or code quality roles.
- Proven expertise integrating third-party platforms with enterprise banking systems, core banking, or ERPs.
- Deep understanding of microservices, containerized deployments, Kubernetes, Docker, and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on proficiency with static code analysis tools and governance of quality gates.
- Strong background in financial services, mobile banking, payments integration, or NIBSS rails is a strong advantage.
