About the Role
ADKAN Services Nigeria Limited, a wholly indigenous construction company committed to advancing Nigeria's built environment, is recruiting a creative and experienced Architect. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects while maintaining the highest standards of excellence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Develop architectural concepts, designs, and detailed drawings for construction projects
- Prepare presentation drawings, 3D renderings, and comprehensive technical specifications
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers throughout project execution
- Review project requirements and ensure compliance with Nigerian building codes and regulations
- Conduct site inspections and monitor implementation of architectural designs
- Prepare and review construction documents and material specifications
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timelines
- Provide technical guidance and resolve design-related issues during construction phases
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc./M.Sc./HND) in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in architectural design and project supervision
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, Lumion, or similar software
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building materials
- Ability to prepare and interpret detailed architectural drawings and specifications
- Comprehensive understanding of Nigerian building regulations and standards
- Excellent creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities
- Professional registration with ARCON or NIA (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure
