About the Role
Nasiratulazeez Islamic School, a reputable private, faith-based educational institution established in 2020 and located in Lekki LCDA, Lagos State, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Arabic & Qur'an Tutor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in nurturing students' spiritual growth, language proficiency, and understanding of Islamic studies within a supportive and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Arabic language and Qur'an recitation effectively to students of various age groups and learning levels.
- Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum to enhance student comprehension and retention.
- Instill strong moral values, Islamic ethics, and discipline among all students during lessons.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and tailored support where necessary.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and conducive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school management in organizing Islamic school events and extra-curricular activities.
- Minimum of an OND, NCE, or B.Sc degree in Arabic Studies, Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching experience in an Islamic school or tutorial setting is highly preferred.
- Strong command of the Arabic language and correct Qur'an recitation rules (Tajweed).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
