About the Role
Mantrac Nigeria Ltd, the authorized dealer representative for Caterpillar, SEM, and Perkins products, is seeking a dynamic Application and Commissioning Engineer to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will champion the technical promotion and implementation of our premier Power Systems business, ensuring our clients receive world-class engineering solutions and unparalleled product support.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in high-value project negotiations by highlighting advanced Power Systems technical capabilities and product advantages.
- Provide expert technical advice including load assessments, expansion forecasting, genset site surveys, sizing, and power distribution system design.
- Prepare comprehensive technical quotations for Power Systems products and associated installation requirements.
- Supervise product installations to guarantee strict adherence to international standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams and field service representatives to secure sales and initiate service maintenance agreements.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng), or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in power systems engineering, sales support, or commissioning.
- Strong technical expertise in Caterpillar or equivalent power generation equipment is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with C-suite executives, project managers, and technical consultants.
- Willingness to undertake domestic travel as required for site surveys and project supervision.
