About the Role
Tezza Business Solutions Ltd is a premier provider of comprehensive IT and business solutions, specializing in personalized software quality assurance and testing services. We are currently looking for an experienced API / Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in executing and automating our API test suites, ensuring our technological solutions deliver exceptional quality and drive a healthy bottom-line for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive API test cases covering contract correctness, status codes, schema validation, versioning, and backward-compatibility.
- Build and stabilise mobile UI automation scripts using Appium and API automation using RestAssured for the committed automation scope.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD execution waves, ensuring smoke tests run on every build, regression nightly, and extended suites pre-release.
- Stand up service-virtualization mocks for third-party payment-rail and identity-verification dependencies during initial environment setup.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in API test automation using RestAssured or equivalent tools.
- Proven experience in mobile UI automation using Appium or equivalent frameworks.
- Strong working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration and platforms such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Mandatory banking experience within the Nigerian financial sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Java or Kotlin, alongside Postman and Newman.
