We are currently looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, building, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that ensure strong performance, reliability, and exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new mobile features.
- Write clean, efficient, scalable, and well-documented code using Kotlin and Java.
- Integrate back-end services, RESTful APIs, and third-party libraries seamlessly into mobile applications.
- Perform comprehensive code reviews, troubleshoot bugs, and resolve performance bottlenecks to optimize application speed.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging Android development trends, frameworks, best practices, and modern architectural patterns like MVVM and Jetpack libraries.
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to unit and instrumentation testing frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in developing, launching, and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern architectures (MVVM, Jetpack).
- Demonstrated experience with API integration, RESTful services, JSON, and Git version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and excellent collaboration skills within a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the banking, fintech, or startup sector will be a strong added advantage.
