About the Role
MTN Nigeria, Africa's leading telecommunications powerhouse, is looking for a dynamic and analytical professional to join our Sales and Distribution division as an Analyst - Regional Sales. Reporting directly to the General Manager for Regional Operations North East, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our regional commercial success through expert business analysis, performance tracking, and strategic data mining.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive regional sales forecasts based on subscription growth, churn rates, and average revenue per user (ARPU).
- Monitor sales performance against revenue targets, identifying operational gaps and emerging market opportunities.
- Track and analyze Gross Connections (GC) to MoMo wallet conversion ratios and evaluate device productivity for trade partners.
- Design, maintain, and update daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards and charts for regional stakeholders.
- Conduct root cause analyses for underperforming sales areas and propose actionable corrective strategies.
- Evaluate the cost structures and overall effectiveness of regional promotional campaigns and customer acquisition initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute shared goals and deploy strategic commercial initiatives.
- First degree in Economics, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 7 years of professional experience in data analytics, data management, and process management.
- Demonstrated expertise using data mining tools and building interactive dashboards.
- Prior experience in a telecommunications, sales, or marketing environment within a medium to large organization is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
