About the Role
Meristem Securities Limited (MSL), a leading member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and SEC-licensed financial institution, is seeking a talented AI Engineer. In this role, you will build and deploy advanced data engineering capabilities that make our operations powerful, ranging from robotic process automation to sophisticated machine learning models and predictive analytics. You will own the full development lifecycle from initial design to production deployment, delivering measurable business value within Nigeria's dynamic financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities- Design, validate, and deploy machine learning models for investment analytics, credit risk, customer segmentation, and fraud detection.
- Build and maintain robust MLOps pipelines covering model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and automated retraining.
- Develop, test, and deploy intelligent RPA solutions using platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate.
- Monitor deployed bots and models to handle exceptions, prevent performance degradation, and track FTE savings.
- Collaborate with data teams to engineer features, build reliable pipelines, and ensure clean data availability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Master's degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Robotic Process Automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks.
