About the Role
Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited is a leading name in the Nigerian healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, known for producing trusted household brands like Vitaclox and Vitacillin. Operating from our ultra-modern manufacturing facility in Lagos, we are committed to delivering quality and affordable healthcare products. We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled AHU Supervisor to oversee our critical air handling and environmental control systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with international manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage daily maintenance operations for AHUs, HVAC systems, ducting networks, and filtration systems to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 support.
- Monitor and regulate differential pressure cascades, HEPA filtration efficiency, and relative humidity across cleanrooms and laboratories to meet cGMP and WHO guidelines.
- Plan and execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules for chillers, blowers, cooling coils, and electrical control panels to minimize downtime.
- Supervise filter integrity testing, including DOP/PAO leak tests, and oversee the routine cleaning and replacement of pre-filters and HEPA filters.
- Troubleshoot complex technical faults involving compressors, refrigeration cycles, and motor drive failures.
- Maintain comprehensive engineering logbooks, IQ/OQ/PQ qualification records, and Standard Operating Procedures for internal and regulatory audits.
- Enforce strict safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and proper personal protective equipment usage among utility personnel.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Higher Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical HVAC and AHU maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within a pharmaceutical, food processing, or cleanroom environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of psychrometrics, cleanroom classifications, automated Building Management Systems (BMS), and refrigeration cycles.
- Demonstrated expertise in equipment qualification, technical report writing, fault diagnosis, and team leadership.
