About the Role
Prestigious Consulting Group, a leading global staffing agency located in Lagos, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Agriculture & Agro-Allied Project Lead. In this vital role, you will spearhead the development, execution, and commercialization of innovative agribusiness, agro-processing, and agricultural manufacturing projects. You will guide initiatives from initial feasibility and strategic planning through full implementation and commercial operations, playing a pivotal role in shaping Nigeria's agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end agro-allied, agricultural production, agro-processing, and manufacturing projects from concept to commercialization.
- Develop and review comprehensive feasibility studies, business cases, financial models, budgets, and investment proposals.
- Evaluate project profitability, return on investment, CAPEX, OPEX, and cash flow projections to ensure financial viability.
- Identify new project opportunities, potential investors, funding sources, offtakers, and strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate complex agricultural value chains, sourcing, processing, manufacturing, logistics, and operational activities.
- Establish project plans, timelines, risk assessments, and performance monitoring frameworks to track milestones and costs.
- Manage high-level relationships with investors, financial institutions, government agencies, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed management reports and strategic recommendations to support executive decision-making and expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in agribusiness, agro-processing, agricultural manufacturing, or agro-allied project management.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, feasibility analysis, budgeting, and commercial evaluation.
- Strong understanding of agricultural value chains, agro-processing operations, and project economics.
- Exceptional project planning, leadership, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CFA, or ICAN will be considered a strong advantage.
