About the Role
Victrius Academy is a newly established, forward-thinking educational institution located in the vibrant Hajj Camp area of Gwagwalada, Abuja. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Agricultural Science Teacher to join our growing science department and deliver engaging lessons that bridge agricultural theory with practical, real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Agricultural Science lessons aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Facilitate both theoretical learning and practical agricultural activities, including school garden projects and field demonstrations.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Guide students in understanding modern agricultural practices, sustainability, and agribusiness concepts.
- Minimum qualification of a B.Ed, B.Sc, B.A, PGDE, NCE, HND, or ND in Agricultural Science or a directly relevant subject area.
- Proven experience teaching Agricultural Science in a recognized primary or secondary school setting is an advantage.
- Strong passion for education and a genuine commitment to student success.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to utilize modern teaching aids and educational technology effectively.
- Residency in or close proximity to Gwagwalada, Abuja will be considered an added advantage.
