About the Role
Cornelia International Schools is a vibrant, inclusive, and non-faith-based co-educational nursery and primary school dedicated to providing exceptional education and nurturing future global leaders. We are currently seeking a highly organized, dynamic, and proactive Administrative Office Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our institution, ensuring the seamless day-to-day operation of our administrative functions while delivering stellar support to our management, teaching staff, students, and parents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to the school management and teaching staff.
- Manage front desk duties professionally, warmly greeting and attending to visitors, parents, prospective families, and students.
- Handle official school correspondence, including professionally managing phone calls, incoming emails, and postal mail.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date physical and digital records, student files, and school documentation while ensuring strict confidentiality.
- Assist the admissions team with student enrollment processes, record management, and school tours.
- Coordinate scheduling for internal meetings, appointments, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular school events.
- Monitor office inventory and ensure that stationery, instructional materials, and office supplies are adequately stocked.
- Perform additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned by the school administrator.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, NCE, or B.Sc in Business Administration, Office Management, Secretarial Studies, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of proven professional experience working in an administrative, front desk, or secretarial role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional, polite phone etiquette.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and modern office equipment.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- High level of integrity, professional maturity, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
