About the Role
Career Pool International is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Officer / Manager to join our growing team. As a premier Collateral Management Company, we act as an independent third party between financial institutions and borrowing companies, ensuring transparency, accountability, and risk mitigation. In this vital role, you will be responsible for independently monitoring, managing, and reporting on financed stock and pledged collateral, ensuring all operations align strictly with both Company and Bank standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operational activities and inventory management across assigned location sites.
- Manage, supervise, and mentor a team of on-site Inventory Officers to maintain high performance.
- Review, verify, and approve regular operational and stock reports submitted by field teams.
- Conduct scheduled and impromptu physical audits and checks on pledged collateral and inventory.
- Identify, investigate, and follow up promptly on any inventory discrepancies or operational risks.
- Liaise professionally with partner banks and borrowing companies to ensure seamless collateral management.
- Enforce strict adherence to internal standard operating procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in operations management, inventory control, auditing, or collateral management within the financial or logistics sector.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience supervising teams across multiple locations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern inventory management software.
- Strong integrity and professional ethics, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
