About the Role

Beaconhealth Diagnostics is revolutionizing diagnostic care in Nigeria by providing accessible, high-quality healthcare through our innovative network of clinics. We are seeking a warm, professional, and detail-oriented Admin Officer (Front Desk) to join our Clinic Operations team at our Umuahia location opposite the Fire Station. Reporting directly to the Center Manager, you will serve as the primary ambassador for our clinic, ensuring every patient receives a welcoming and seamless experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle phone and in-person enquiries from patients, family members, and referring clinicians with utmost courtesy and professionalism.
  • Welcome patients warmly, identify their required procedures or referral sources, and guide them smoothly through their clinic visit.
  • Accurately capture and update patient information and booking details using our proprietary digital platform, BeaconOS.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal departments to ensure prompt service delivery and manage patient flow in the waiting area.
  • Collect and distribute printed test results securely while maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
  • Gather patient feedback, support bi-annual satisfaction surveys, and escalate operational concerns to the Center Manager.
Qualifications
  • Hold an OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Possess a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role, preferably within a healthcare or clinical setting.
  • Demonstrate exceptional spoken communication skills and a genuinely warm, empathetic manner when interacting with patients.
  • Exhibit high accuracy in data entry with strong attention to detail.
  • Maintain composure, patience, and courtesy during high-volume periods.
  • Be computer literate and comfortable learning new digital record systems quickly.
  • Fluency in the local language spoken by patients in Umuahia is an added advantage.
