About the Role
Beaconhealth Diagnostics is expanding its dynamic team and looking for a passionate Admin Officer (Front Desk) to deliver exceptional administrative support and front-of-house services. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, visitors, and partners, embodying our commitment to care, professionalism, and excellence in healthcare diagnostics across our Jos and Calabar branches.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the front desk reception area professionally, welcoming patients, guests, and vendors with warmth and efficiency.
- Handle incoming phone calls, inquiries, and correspondence, routing them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Coordinate patient registration, appointment scheduling, and basic records management with high accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming waiting area that reflects the high standards of Beaconhealth Diagnostics.
- Assist with general administrative tasks including inventory management of office supplies, document archiving, and report generation.
- Collaborate seamlessly with clinical and laboratory staff to ensure smooth daily facility operations.
- Possess a relevant qualification in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, Office Management, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience working in a front desk, customer service, or administrative role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a polite and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Proficiency in using basic office software, computers, and database management systems.
- Residency in or willingness to work in Jos (Plateau State) or Calabar (Cross River State).
