About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC), is currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor and Supervisor in Bayelsa. In this pivotal role, you will uphold the highest standards of academic integrity by overseeing computer-based testing sessions and ensuring that all institutional examination guidelines are meticulously followed. We are looking for dedicated professionals who can manage exam environments efficiently, support students, and maintain strict adherence to protocols in a dynamic tertiary education setting.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor computer-based testing (CBT) examinations to ensure a smooth, disruption-free testing process for all participating students.
- Ensure strict adherence to university examination rules, regulations, and standardized guidelines throughout the assessment period.
- Supervise and actively monitor the conduct of examinations to decisively prevent and report any form of academic malpractice.
- Assist in the efficient distribution, management, and collection of examination materials and digital resources.
- Compile and submit comprehensive, accurate reports on the conduct of examinations to the university administration promptly.
- Must hold a minimum of a Master’s Degree from a recognized and accredited tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision, proctoring, or invigilation within a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must be currently resident in Bayelsa to facilitate prompt and reliable on-site attendance.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in navigating web-based operating systems and CBT platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with the ability to handle high-pressure environments.
