About the Role
St. Cyprian Modern Schools, a leading private educational institution in Agubia, Ikwo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, is recruiting a dedicated and experienced Accounting Teacher. We provide comprehensive education across Nursery, Primary, and Secondary levels, fostering academic excellence and character development in our students.
We are seeking a qualified professional to teach Accounting at the secondary level, inspire students' understanding of financial principles, and contribute to our institution's academic success.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Accounting lessons to secondary students
- Develop and implement effective curriculum-based teaching strategies
- Prepare students for standardized examinations (WAEC, NECO, etc.)
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with other staff members to support student holistic development
- Participate in school management and administrative duties as required
- Contribute to school improvement initiatives and professional development activities
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.ED) or Science in Education (B.S.ED) with specialization in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' teaching experience in secondary school management
- Strong command of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for student learning and mentorship
