Victrius Academy is a newly established, forward-thinking educational institution located in the vibrant Hajj Camp area of Gwagwalada, Abuja. As we continue to expand our academic programs, we are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Accounting Teacher to join our dedicated team and deliver high-quality instruction in financial and commercial subjects.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Accounting lessons in accordance with the approved school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a conducive atmosphere for learning and collaboration.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Guide students in understanding fundamental accounting principles, financial record keeping, and basic business mathematics.
- Minimum qualification includes a B.Ed, B.Sc, B.A, PGDE, NCE, HND, or ND in Accounting or relevant subject areas.
- Strong passion for teaching and mentoring young minds with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to utilize modern teaching aids and basic educational technology.
- Prior teaching experience in a recognized school environment will be an added advantage.
