About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Accounting Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. In this role, you will inspire students by delivering engaging lessons that build a strong foundation in financial literacy, preparing them for both local and international examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver comprehensive Accounting lessons in line with the approved Nigerian and international curricula.
  • Teach core accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial statements, ledger preparation, and financial analysis.
  • Develop innovative lesson plans that promote analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and practical financial literacy.
  • Assess students’ academic progress continuously and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for WAEC, NECO, and relevant internal examinations.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encourages academic excellence and discipline.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Education, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Accounting at the secondary school level is strongly preferred.
  • Strong command of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping concepts.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with both the Nigerian curriculum and the Cambridge curriculum will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in modern 21st-century teaching methods and educational technology.
  • Valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification is a significant advantage.
