About the Role
Nigerian SinoTrucks Limited is a leading automotive and haulage solutions provider in Nigeria, committed to delivering reliable and cost-effective heavy-duty truck brands tailored for the local environment. We are currently seeking a smart, detail-ored, and highly motivated NYSC Corps Member with a strong academic background in accounting to join our Finance and Accounts team in Lagos. This internship offers an exceptional platform to gain hands-on corporate experience in financial reporting, auditing, and treasury operations while working alongside seasoned finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in processing vendor invoices, payments, and customer receipts efficiently.
- Support the finance team in the preparation of periodic financial reports and general ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date physical and digital accounting records and documentation.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and thorough account analyses to identify discrepancies.
- Perform daily data entry tasks and update financial databases with high precision.
- Support internal audit preparations and tax compliance documentation activities.
- Carry out other administrative and financial duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
- Currently serving as an NYSC Corps Member or about to commence your service year.
- Must reside within Surulere or easily accessible areas within the Surulere axis, Lagos.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1).
- Solid foundational knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong team-player attitude.
