We are currently looking for a driven, detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our dynamic finance team in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Assist the finance team with recording, categorizing, and organizing daily financial transactions accurately.
- Support the preparation, processing, and documentation of client and vendor invoices.
- Assist in performing regular bank and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
- Maintain organized, accurate physical and digital financial records in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the broader finance team to prepare periodic financial reports and statements.
- Support the accounting department with other administrative and ad-hoc financial tasks as assigned.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Solid foundational knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with basic accounting software or enterprise resource planning tools is a distinct advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of numerical accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing tasks effectively.
