About the Role

Utiva is a global leader in digital skills learning and enterprise transformation, empowering individuals and organizations across Africa and beyond. We are currently looking for a motivated and academically stellar Accounting graduate currently undergoing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program to join our finance team as an Accounting Associate for their Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day accounting and finance operational activities.
  • Assist with financial record-keeping, bank reconciliations, and documentation.
  • Support the finance team in preparing accurate financial reports and statements.
  • Assist with tracking, monitoring, and auditing daily financial transactions.
  • Maintain well-organised, digital and physical financial records.
  • Collaborate with the broader finance team on ad-hoc tasks, budgeting, and special projects.

Qualifications
  • B.Sc. Degree in Accounting from a reputable tertiary institution with First Class or Second Class Honours.
  • Must have started or completed the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) professional examinations.
  • Must currently be serving with the NYSC and actively seeking a PPA placement in Lagos.
  • Demonstrated strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Smart, sharp, presentable, energetic, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
