About the Role
Green Africa, Nigeria's innovative Lagos-based airline, is seeking a meticulous and driven Accounting and Finance Operation Specialist to support our dynamic financial operations. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records, executing seamless transactions, and upholding stringent internal controls as we continue to connect people and resources across Nigeria and the wider West African seaboard.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate general ledgers, journals, and financial documentation to ensure robust audit readiness.
- Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable activities in compliance with company policies and approval workflows.
- Perform timely bank and account reconciliations, promptly investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Assist in daily, monthly, and annual accounting close activities and prepare detailed financial schedules.
- Provide critical support during internal and external audits, as well as tax and regulatory compliance filings.
- Adhere strictly to internal controls and contribute to continuous improvements in financial efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in a similar accounting or finance operations role.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software and strong data analysis capabilities.
