We are currently seeking a competent, analytical, and detail-oriented Accountant / Risk Analyst to join our growing team in Lagos State and contribute to our clients' financial success.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, assess, and monitor financial and operational risks across various client portfolios.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, comprehensive budgets, and regular account reconciliations.
- Analyse financial data, market trends, and risk exposures to provide actionable business insights.
- Review internal control systems and recommend strategic improvements to safeguard assets.
- Monitor compliance with statutory financial policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits, risk reporting, and long-term financial planning.
- Analyse financial markets, securities, the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), and investment trends.
- Prepare insightful risk dashboards, management reports, and presentations to support executive decision-making.
- Age requirement: 26 to 28 years old.
- Residency: Must currently reside in Lagos State, Nigeria.
- Education: B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial markets, the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), investment instruments, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Competencies: Excellent analytical, numerical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CFA, or FRM will be an added advantage.
- Experience: Prior experience in accounting, risk analysis, or financial advisory services is desirable.
