About the Role
Denam Properties Limited is a leading real estate development and property management company based in Abuja, Nigeria. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Accountant / Procurement Officer to join our finance team at Denam Apartments Limited (DAL). In this dual role, you will oversee daily financial transactions, maintain precise records, and drive cost-effective procurement strategies to support our expanding operations in the real estate and hospitality sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, manage petty cash, and prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
- Perform timely bank reconciliations, monitor receivables, and assist with payroll and statutory financial obligations.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to procure high-quality goods, services, and operational supplies at competitive prices.
- Monitor inventory levels, verify delivered goods against approved purchase orders, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Enforce strict procurement authorization procedures and monitor expenditures against approved budgets.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and provide comprehensive documentation to support internal and external audits.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience in accounting, procurement, or a combined finance and supply chain role.
- Prior experience in property management, hospitality, hotels, or shortlet apartments is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and modern procurement systems.
- Exceptional numerical accuracy, strong analytical capabilities, and high standards of professional integrity.
- Relevant professional certifications in accounting or procurement will be an added advantage.
