About the Role
Ritzman Smarthomes and Automation is a pioneering home automation company dedicated to simplifying modern lives through innovative technology that allows users to control all appliances remotely. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, full-time Accountant to join our dynamic team on-site in Ikate, Lagos. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining our financial integrity, optimizing budgeting processes, and supporting our rapid growth in the smart technology sector.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Perform timely bank reconciliations and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and internal company policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide actionable financial insights and support upcoming financial audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and comprehensive budgeting.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and local tax laws.
- Professional accounting certifications such as ICAN or ACCA will be a distinct advantage.
- Prior experience working within the technology, IoT, or renewable energy sectors is highly preferred.
