About the Role
Residency Hotels & Resorts is built upon a rich tradition of hospitality, creating lasting memories and offering every guest a warm, valued experience. We are currently looking for a dedicated and analytical Accountant to join our dynamic team and oversee daily financial operations across our hotel properties.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Monitor cash flow and implement effective financial control measures to optimize hotel operations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile records with operational departments.
- Ensure full compliance with local accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
- Liaise seamlessly with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable recommendations for improving profitability.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling financial data.
- Proximity to Independence Layout, Enugu, for easy daily commuting is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
- Competitive monthly salary of 100,000 NGN plus a 15,000 NGN transport allowance.
