About the Role
Juremi Group is a fast-growing, diversified conglomerate operating across real estate, hospitality, construction, and transportation sectors in Abuja, FCT. We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Accountant to own full-cycle accounting across multiple business units, ensure strict statutory compliance, and guide a small, focused accounts team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage month-end close processes and conduct accurate reconciliations across real estate, hospitality, and construction ledgers.
- Prepare and issue timely monthly management accounts and detailed project cost reports to leadership.
- Maintain audit-ready financial files and proactively address compliance gaps prior to statutory deadlines.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and complex multi-entity bank reconciliations.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the daily operational output of junior account officers.
- Contribute to budgeting exercises, cash flow monitoring, and corporate tax compliance obligations.
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional accounting experience, preferably within multi-entity corporate structures.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, project cost accounting, and internal controls.
- Relevant professional certification (ICAN or ACCA completed or in active progress) is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines with high accuracy and minimal supervision.
