About the Role
Jetlink Limited is a dynamic information technology solutions provider committed to delivering exceptional products and services that add tangible value to our clients' businesses. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and qualified Accountant with a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing our day-to-day financial operations, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions through precise financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage statutory audits while successfully liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings and remittances with the FIRS, LIRS, PENCOM, and NSITF.
- Perform comprehensive monthly bank account reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements for executive review.
- Monitor comprehensive tax compliance covering VAT, WHT, and PAYE to mitigate financial risks.
- Support corporate budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to drive business growth.
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure strict adherence to relevant accounting standards.
- Possess a B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Hold a mandatory active ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) certification.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of proven professional accounting experience.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, statutory audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in using standard accounting software such as Sage, alongside advanced MS Excel skills.
