About the Role
Tojum Hospitality, a premier hospitality management consultancy firm in Nigeria, is recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, Isaac Sam Lounge & Lodging Limited, for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant. Located along Ring Road in Ibadan, Oyo State, this role is ideal for a dedicated finance professional looking to grow their career within a dynamic hospitality environment. You will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the organization through precise bookkeeping, reporting, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws and statutory financial regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and implement effective internal financial controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operational costs and improve profitability.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven professional experience working in an accounting or financial role, preferably within hospitality.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and local tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical abilities, and high integrity.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must reside in or be willing to work around Ring Road, Ibadan.
