About the Role
Stransact Chartered Accountants is seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with leadership to maintain the day-to-day integrity of the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are posted, reconciled, and reported accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full rhythm of the finance function, including month-end close processes and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll inputs, and maintain the fixed-asset register.
- Execute the monthly statutory compliance cycle, including PAYE, pension, NHF, NSITF, ITF, VAT, withholding tax, and excise.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports that meet rigorous institutional audit standards.
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active ICAN or ACCA qualification (or actively in view).
- Minimum of 3 years of proven accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or high-transaction-volume environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of accounting ERP systems.
