About the Role
LEAM Consulting Limited is a foremost professional consulting firm with a proven track record of delivering excellent services to individuals and corporate organizations. We are currently looking for a dedicated and analytical Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations of our retail business by maintaining accurate records, reconciling daily sales, and tracking inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Reconcile daily sales and cashier records, matching cash, POS, and transfer transactions across all terminals.
- Work with the store and inventory teams to track stock levels, monitor shrinkage, and post inventory adjustments to the ledger.
- Maintain accurate vendor and supplier accounts, process invoices, and track payments due.
- Post daily accounting entries, manage petty cash, and assist in preparing balance sheets and income statements.
- Generate weekly and monthly sales, expense, and profit reports for supermarket management.
- HND or B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally within the retail or supermarket industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, alongside familiarity with basic accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, or SAP.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail, exceptional numerical aptitude, and strong problem-solving skills.
