We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records, accounting operations, and comprehensive reporting activities. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, accounting documents, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and timely payment processing.
  • Prepare regular bank reconciliations and proactively monitor company cash flow.
  • Track income, operating expenses, department budgets, and everyday financial transactions.
  • Assist senior management with strategic budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Ensure strict compliance with applicable Nigerian tax laws, statutory regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Prepare and file relevant tax returns including VAT, WHT, and PAYE accurately and on schedule.
  • Monitor financial transactions closely to identify discrepancies, anomalies, or potential fraud risks.
  • Support both internal and external audit processes by providing requested financial documentation.
  • Provide management with actionable financial insights to drive profitable business decisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven professional accounting experience in a structured organization.
  • Active professional qualification or ongoing progression with ICAN, ACCA, or an equivalent body is a strong advantage.
  • Prior working experience or exposure within the real estate industry will be considered an added advantage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of standard accounting principles, financial reporting, and local taxation laws.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software applications.
  • Exceptional analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
