We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to join our dynamic finance team and support the robust financial operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure effective financial control measures are consistently applied.
- Conduct inventory audits and reconcile inventory records with various operational departments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure strict compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities to drive strategic goals.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and statutory filings.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality regarding financial data.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
