We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will play an essential part in driving our financial operations, ensuring profitability, and supporting our commitment to local manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and comprehensive financial reports for executive review.
- Manage manufacturing costs, inventory tracking, work-in-progress, and overall product profitability.
- Oversee budgeting processes, cash-flow management, and robust financial controls across operations.
- Collaborate with production teams to analyze material usage and optimize cost-efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with statutory financial regulations and company policies.
- Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant holding ACA, ICAN, or ACCA certification.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
- Proven hands-on experience working in the furniture manufacturing sector or a closely related industrial environment.
- Strong expertise in manufacturing costing, inventory management, budgeting, and financial controls.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems or modern accounting software.
- Exceptional analytical skills, high ethical standards, unwavering honesty, and the confidence to advise management effectively.
